Burberry X Lola Chrome is a proposed event presenting the relaunch and new collection of the Burberry Box Quilted Lola Bag, motivated by the main theme of futuristic design. The revamped bag is illuminated with a remarkable silver chrome hue alongside 4 other distinctive chrome colours, interrelating with upcoming 2023 fashion trends as “chrome and metallics continue to be hot trends both on and off the runway in the fashion world” (Vecchiarelli, 2023). In honour of Burberry’s new creative director Daniel Lee, this event aims to showcase Lee’s “strength in leather goods and handbags” (Chitrakorn, 2023) and the brand’s ability to evolve into a more youthful GEN Z lens while staying true to the brand’s heritage and iconic identity.
